A historic idyll right on the Ammersee by well-known artist "Mr.Wahl"

The sunny Künstlerhaus is a former fisherman's house from the early 17th century lovingly restored by the well-known artist Christian Wahl.

Away from the hustle and bustle, lies the gem in a quiet side street in Dissen, straight near from the Ammersee Lake, the lawn with jetty, the steamer dock, the boat rental and the lake facilities with artist pavilion away.
The baker, the butcher, and many small shops, cafes and bistros, countless restaurants, beer gardens, are within easy reach on foot in 5 minutes :-)

If Christian Wahl lovingly renovated old houses, that's always something special. Two of his restored buildings received the title 'House of the Year' in 1998 and 2010!

Even with this property, the townscape in the Old Fisheries is enriched by another gem ............

In painstaking detail the old fisherman's house was converted and rebuilt. Many treasures, raised on flea and antique markets that had accumulated over the years, were renovated, and slowly found their place and their destiny.
